Cutting Tie Wraps

One quick way to cut tie-wrap tails is to snip them with wire cutters, but this leaves a bit of sharp plastic sticking out that catches flesh. In areas where you need to crawl around engine room equipment, cut tie-wrap tails flush with a snap-blade or drywall knife instead.

I personally like to use heavy duty nail clippers. they seem to cut real close without leaving the razor sharp edges.
